I searched for that DLL file in the C: Program Files (x86) Adobe folder and found a few MSVCR90.dll files, so I chose one from a 32-bit application and put it in the C: Program Files (x86) Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Acrobat folder. Adobe Acrobat Pro v. 9.4.3 (also tested with 9.4.4 and 9.4.5) installed. 1st error: Whenever the program starts while no other PDF files are open, a System Error stating that the file MSVCR90.dll is missing (please see corresponding attached image). That seemed to fix the 1st error. 2nd error: After apparently fixing the 1st error, the next error tells me MSVCP90.dll is missing (please see corresponding attached image). I searched in C: Windows winsxs and found some MSVCP90.dll files. I copied one and pasted it into the C: Program Files (x86) Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Acrobat folder. This cured the error message, but resulted in an error message stating a runtime error from the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library (please see corresponding attached image). After opening one (1) PDF file with Acrobat and receiving the error and then closing the error message dialog, I can open other PDF files without the error. Also, after opening, Acrobat seems to function normally. I have Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and CS5 Master Collection. Any ideas as to how to fix this problem? Thank you, edsager. ![]() Remixedcat: Thank you for your suggestions. I have tried sfc /scannow a couple of times, but no inconsistencies were found. I do not think I need to download the file from the Internet or get it off of the OS disk because I have those files: MSVCP90.dll & MSVCR90.dll files are located in C: Windows winsxs and MSVCR90.dll files are also located in C: Program Files (x86) Adobe folder. However, I did try to register both DLL files, with no luck. The error message is attached as an image. Should I put the DLL files in a different location? Thank you, edsager. ![]() Can also find out exactly the one it is looking for. Make bootable usb on mac for windows. Process Monitor Save this and launch it, and then set the the filter at the top to Include 'Result' is 'NAME NOT FOUND' then 'Include', and then try and recreate the errors by launching the app. You can also include in the filter 'Process Name' is 'Acrobat.exe', and also stop the registry logging at the top (little reg icon), so only File System Activity is found. Then go look at the logging, search for the missing.dll. Might just be one, maybe a few others. Uninstall adobe flash os x.
